Dog House
One of the most important things to get for your dog is a dog house. Prepare a place for the dog to stay during the night. They must have a dedicated area where they can call home.
Puppies will form a bond with their allocated space over the first few weeks so make sure you have setup a good dry and clean place from them to spend the nights in.
Food
Make the bond by providing some yummy food to the dog. Depending on the length of the journey, a treat with some water would go down well with any dog.
Use allocated dog bowls or dishes to serve the food so that they will know where they will expect to get their next food. Allocate a special area for feeding so that the dogs know where to go when they are hungry or thirsty.
